The Auctions

The Silent and Live auctions are the centerpieces of the evening Benefit for Home Resource.  Guests will receive a bid card when they check in with their pre-purchased tickets or buy tickets at the gate.  (Click here for ticket information.)  All contest participants will receive a pass to the evening event including bid cards. 

Silent Auction: 
The SponCon silent auction will feature found-object art and any work addressing environmental and social sustainability.

Works will be selected by a jury including local artists, associates of the Missoula Art Museum and the Home Resource Board of Directors.

Also, SponCon Contest works that are not selected for the live auction will be added to the silent auction after awards have been decided.

Found object artists are invited to contribute pre-constructed works for the Silent Auction.  Pieces should be submitted for selection by August 8th.  Click here to read the Call for Entries.  Selected works will be on display in a designated area throughout the day. 

Live Auction:
Approximately ten pieces from the SponCon Contest will be selected for the Live Auction.  A mosaic of tiles painted by kids and the Creation Station will also be auctioned off at this time.  Please tell all your friends and family to come bid at the LIVE auction at 7 p.m.
